How we use your details

We keep this simple: we only ask for what we need to answer your enquiry and plan your event, and we never sell your details.
Who we are
Lucca Pizza Company is run by Lucca Pizza Company Ltd (Company No. 14371977), registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is Unit 4, Dunston Industrial Estate, Dunston, Gateshead, NE11 9EL, United Kingdom. We are the “controller” of your personal data under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect
When you send a pre-booking request we receive:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- the event details: type, date, start time, number of guests, location and your notes;
- the date and time you agreed to be contacted.
Please don't include sensitive information in the notes. If you mention dietary or allergy needs, we use them only to plan the food for your event.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, check availability and send you a quote – this is a step you asked us to take before any contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep a record of enquiries and bookings – our legitimate interest in running the business and meeting our accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c)).
We don't use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:

Where a provider may access data from outside the UK, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become bookings: 12 months. Confirmed bookings: as long as we need them for the booking and for tax records – 6 years, as UK tax rules require. After that we delete them.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. If you start the booking form, your answers are saved in your own browser so you don't lose them – they never leave your device until you press “Send”, and they are cleared once your request is sent.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Just email info@luccapizzacompany.com – we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
